Actually, they can charge whatever they want. It's their product. They have every right to sell it for 1,000,000 Yen if they want (not that anyone would actually buy it). Don't forget that businesses have to run a profit to have money to funnel into things like development (New kits, tech, etc.), equipment, facilities and advertising. I'd bet if they sold everything at absolute cost and never did any promotions at shows, there'd be a bigger complaint there. Also, in that regard, remember that the materials in the box aren't all of what it costs Bandai to make a kit. Labor costs money, whether it comes as packaging, development or production. While I do believe there's a decent mark-up on PG kits, I'm not entirely sure that its that much more (percentage wise) than any other grade kits. Hypothetically speaking, if they break even at 20,000 yen and sell it for around 24,000 yen, they're not exactly raking in hundreds of dollars on each sale. Besides, that's what we pay, Bandai sells them to the stores cheaper than that so that the stores can make a profit and stay in business as well. But more to the point, I have to agree with what a few other people have said so far, until we see it, and get an actual price, we can't really do anything but speculate about how overpriced it may be. |

You're being killed by flying dragoons, trying to be the Seed fan you could be. What do you pilot? back at mine, it's a kira fan that you want to be like. Look again the fan is now diamonds. Anything is possible when you become a seed whore. |

It's expensive, and a bit too rich for my blood, but I'm going to wait until we at least have full color samples and full details before I make my call. It's gonna come down to a choice of this or Takara's Masterpiece Rodimus Prime for my big purchase of the year, and right now Rodimus is winning. I'm sure it'll sell well over in Japan no matter what, though. They love SEED. |

I hated Gundam Seed Destiny's storyline, but damn the Opening song 'Ignited' and the Gundam designs were awesome. Too bad the intro song was way, way too short. Count me in for 2 Strike Freedom PG please. |

Sure it was a disappointment for us older fans to not get a Universal Century Perfect Grade. Like what Tenx10 said, It has been seven years since a UC PG has been produced. It maybe in progress as we speak. Although I would not be throwing away 200.00+ for this kit, I wont bash the kit just yet, until I've seen some solid images. Not just some line art, but a completed scale. Who knows it might actually be a decent kit. I would like to see what type of engineering have to incorporated into this kit. Strike Freedom is known for its massive wings. How will this kit be able to withstand the large weigh that the wing brings. I would suspect that Bandai will have some sort of promotional action base like what they did with Double OO Raiser. There is always next year. Perfect Grade Ball FTW!!! |

That is a great remodel. That said I actually like the SF(in a so over the top it becomes stylish way), I just dislike it because of its fanboys and the show its from (does that make sense) |

I wonder what bonus/ incentive will be included as the initial production run? Looking at the 1/60 Lightning version, I would imagine that a display stand would come in pretty handy. Clear armor would also be a nice bonus as I'm expecting a very detailed inner frame. |
