I actually thought I wouldn't be finishing, or at least skipping the weapons, but hey, here we are. Went out for 6 hours, slept for 4, and spent maybe 2 or 3 in total eating. All other time I spent working on this. Colours used are Mr Hobby Wine Red (left over from SD Nightingale), Mr Hobby White, Alclad Stainless Steel, Alclad White Aluminum and assorted enamel metallics from Testors which were brushed on. The original intentions were to use a mystery paint from Kyle, but it didn't arrive in time, so I used the Wine Red instead. I actually ran out of time while assembling it, and had to run two flights of stairs to get it in on time. I will likely revisit this to give it a coat of topcoat, line, and maybe decal it. Ha. Thanks guys. If this happens again in the future, I'd definitely look to enter again. This is a much more efficient way to clear a backlog than my usual methods. Time to clearcoat and line and clearcoat... |
